Gerrit is Chair of the group’s Global Equity Management unit and Chair of the Global Best Ideas Investment Committee.
Gerrit is the founder of Global Best Ideas. He joined the group in 2008 following more than 20 years as Equity Analyst, Chief Investment Strategist and Chief Investment Officer for Sanlam’s International Portfolios.
He holds a Hons B.Com degree from the University of Stellenbosch and the University of South Africa and a PSM qualification from the Business School of the University of Stellenbosch.
