Alasdair McLaren

Director – Family Office

Alasdair is a Director within the Family Office division, based in the Guernsey office. He has over 30 years of experience in working with international families, their family offices and their advisers. He specialises in advising family office clients with complex requirements.

Prior to joining the Group in 2025, Alasdair was previously Head of Regional Wealth for one of the world’s largest private client teams, he started his career in Guernsey with KPMG and has also worked in the UK and the Caribbean. Alasdair has an MA from the University of Aberdeen, is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute. He was previously chair of the Guernsey STEP branch and a member of STEP worldwide council and has previously been recognised as one of eprivateclient’s 50 Most Influential, Citywealth Top 75 Trustees, invited as a Centurion and as one of Private Client’s Global Elite.
