Claire is Group Financial Controller, she is responsible for the Financial Control Team. This team oversees for all aspects of client billing, the accounts payable function (including payment of staff expenses), the statutory, regulatory reporting and tax filings for all corporate entities in the Group. Claire is also in charge of the preparation of the Group financial statements and is the point of contact for technical accounting queries and IFRS within the Group.
Before joining Stonehage Fleming in 2015, Claire worked for 3i, a multinational FTSE 100 Private Equity company, for 7 years as a manager in the Group’s financial controls team. Prior to this she worked in America within a top 100 audit firm and qualified as a California CPA. Before this Claire worked for Gordon Brothers and started her accounting career at KPMG where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007.
