Carolyn Bell
Partner - Deputy Portfolio Manager - GBI
Carolyn is a Partner and Deputy Portfolio Manager within the Stonehage Fleming Investment Management team, working closely with Stonehage Fleming’s flagship Global Best Ideas Equity Strategy (‘’GBI’’), supporting the continued scaling of GBI across all channels.
Carolyn joined the Group in 2024 from Aegon Asset Management in Edinburgh, where she was lead Investment Manager for the Aegon US Equity Pension Fund, co-manager of the Aegon Technology Pension Fund, and support manager for the Aegon Global Equity Market Neutral Fund. Prior to Aegon Asset Management, Carolyn spent five years as an Investment Analyst at Baillie Gifford.
She holds a Masters of Arts in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, and a Masters in Early Modern Studies (with distinction) from the University of Aberdeen.
