Johan van Niekerk
Partner - Head of Family Office, US
Johan is a Partner of the Stonehage Fleming Group and Head of our Family Office division in the US. After having spent 14 years in the group’s Swiss operations, where Johan was the Head of our Family Office in Neuchatel, he moved to our US office in 2021. He serves as Key Adviser to a number of high net worth international families assisting them in protecting and managing their inter-generational wealth where his involvement spans the whole spectrum of the families’ affairs.
Before joining Stonehage Fleming he worked in Specialised Finance after having continued in private practice for a couple of years post completion of his professional training.
Johan holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
