Andrew Joy

Senior Adviser

Andrew is a Senior Adviser to the Stonehage Fleming Group, and chairs the Private Equity Investment Committee. He joined the Group in 2013.

Andrew was a Founder of Cinven, the leading private equity firm, where he was for 25 years a partner and latterly advisor. He is the chairman of The Herald Investment Trust plc, and before that, was chairman of the Biotech Growth Trust plc. Andrew also chairs the Investment Committee of FPE Capital. He is a former chairman of the British Venture Capital Association and a director of its European equivalent, and is a trustee of a number of charities. He is a graduate of New College, Oxford.
