Laura Perkins
Director
Laura is a Trustee Director in our Family Office Division in Jersey, she acts on boards of Stonehage Fleming’s corporate trustee and corporate director companies in Jersey and the BVI. Laura has a wealth of experience providing legal advice to trustees and beneficiaries in connection with the establishment and administration of trusts and foundations in several jurisdictions and to families in connection with succession and family governance matters. She applies that knowledge and experience in acting as lead trustee of multiple, high value trust structures.
Laura joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2022, prior to this, she was a Partner in the International Private Client team of Jersey law firm, Collas Crill. Laura originally qualified as a lawyer in Scotland and worked for a number of years with Turcan Connell, Scotland’s preeminent private client law firm before leaving Scotland to practice law with Harneys in the BVI and Cayman Islands. She gained her Bachelor of Law degree (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
