During the week of our 2024 next generation programme, a group of 30 young people participated in engaging sessions that covered leadership, family dynamics, communication, and the foundations of finance and business. In this video, Aaron from our Private Markets Advisory team, talks about our 'Dragons' Den' task.
One of the key activities I've been involved in in is
helping the next gen candidates refine
and formalize their business pitches as part
of our stone egg Fleming Dragons den.
This task for them is significant
because at some point in the past, a member
of their families decided
to make a bold and daunting decision.
They decided to take a risk
and do something different, which ultimately led
to the generation of a significant
amount of wealth for their family.
By refining these pitches,
we're encouraging the next generation to embrace
that same spirit of courage
and innovation to continue
to develop the family's financial capital.
In addition to these business pitches,
we also delved into the realm of cryptocurrencies
and blockchain technology.
This is significantly important
and highly relevant to our multi-generational families.
Therefore, it's important to discuss
how we're bridging the gap between the old
and the new generation as part
of the cultural capital pillar.
