Stonehage Fleming: Volunteering with City Harvest
Colleagues from Stonehage Fleming’s UK Family Office team have been putting in a big effort at City Harvest, a London-based food charity. City Harvest works to reduce food insecurity, redistributing food that would otherwise go to waste to some of London’s most vulnerable people and the organisations that support and feed them.
Our volunteers - Anton, Robert, Lucy, Hattie, Kobus, Francesca, Ed, and Alex – spent time sorting through substantial quantities of fruit, vegetables, packaged goods, and other wares, packing them for redistribution to people across the Capital. They tell us that it was “hard work, but for an amazing charity and such an impactful cause”.
More of the Stonehage Fleming team will be rolling up their sleeves to support City Harvest and its users in the months to come. You too can get involved, either by donating money to support the operations or by volunteering on the ground.
