Before that, he spent his formative years in Cricket, including a call-up – the day before his 33rd birthday – to play for England,” he told guests at a Holiday Lunch hosted by British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia, this week.
The event, held to celebrate Transatlantic Commerce and The Business Behind Sports, was the perfect backdrop to outline Stonehage Fleming’s specialist services tailored to the unique needs of sportspeople around the world.
“Our Sports and Entertainment team provides advice to professional athletes worldwide who require a range of integrated financial and administration services, allowing them to focus entirely on their sport”, explained Peter.
Maintaining a capital base is a common challenge for those in sport, explained Peter. “Their needs vary depending on the complexity of each person’s situation, but all are working towards building a capital base to meet their families’ and their own long-term needs. As a Group, we've learned how to assist sports men and women in not only avoiding hazards but also assisting them in seizing relevant opportunities as they arise.”
