BEST PIECE OF ADVICE?
My father was an emigrant, a serial entrepreneur, a philanthropist and a huge influence on me and the way I live my life. He is the one who gave me this advice. My biggest KPI is whether I can increase the amount of money I invest into female founders each year. And it is also the reason I joined Speedinvest. The impact that I can create in the world that drives me. If you really love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
WHAT DOES BEING SELECTED FOR THE SFXV MEAN TO YOU?
The world often rates individuals based on wealth creation – be it the biggest fundraise or the biggest exit. SFXV has gone beyond and recognised the importance of an individual’s intellectual, cultural and social contributions to society; it recognises everything that a woman has to offer. It is important to me that my 16 year old daughter and other young women have these amazing female role models to inspire them.
