We would be delighted if you would join us for an evening of conversation on the findings of our most recent thought leadership report, Four Pillars of Capital 'managing risk in an age of upheaval'.

This proprietary research dating back to 2013 has generated valuable insights and practical wisdom from families, wealth creators and their trusted advisers, highlighting the challenges of sustaining wealth across generations. Based on these insights, we constructed a simple, yet profound premise noting that in order to ensure a successful transition of wealth and create an impactful legacy, families should not only look at their financial capital, but also their intellectual, social and cultural capital, which together we refer to as the Four Pillars of Capital.

The evening will be hosted by Matthew Fleming, Head of Family Governance & Succession at Stonehage Fleming. Matthew, a 5th generation member of the Fleming family and great-nephew of Ian Fleming, creator of the James Bond series of novels, will draw on personal insights into family governance, wealth management, and intergenerational communication as well as the findings of our Four Pillars of Capital research, to discuss key considerations on the topic of ‘Preserving Family Capital and Legacy Amidst Times of Upheaval and Risk’
